UC Laurel Thatcher Ulrich: Women and Material History

Long after women had entered the professions, voting was still seen by many Americans as a transgressive act. Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, a historian, Pulitzer Prize winner and professor at Harvard University, shares the little known stories from women’s history that help us explore some of the reasons.

This event is free and open to the public.
