Memorial Day marks a day to honor those who gave their lives for our country. The parade is led by members of VFW Post 7155. All area residents, groups and businesses are invited to take part in the parade. Use our online forms to:
Bikes, animals and any people, animate or inanimate objects that can walk or roll a mile down Trappe Borough’s Main Street are welcome to join us. Vendors and sponsors are welcome to help make it happen. Sign up today.
The parade will be followed by a Remembrance Observance for those who died in our wars, followed by a Community Concert and Community Day at Waterworks Park.

Where & When
Parade
- Where: The parade begins at Augustus Lutheran Church on Seventh Avenue in Trappe (map it), proceeds down Main St. to First Avenue at the Trappe Shopping Center, then right on First Avenue to the entrance to Waterworks Park (map it).
- When: Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th, 2025
- Time: Parade begins at 10:00 am.
- Restrooms Open Along the Parade Route
- Augustus Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 717 W. Main St. Trappe
- The Henry Muhlenberg House Visitor’s Center, 201 W. Main St., Trappe
- The Speaker’s House, 151 W. Main St., Trappe. And
- The Goodwill Store & Donation Center, Trappe Shopping Center, 130 W. Main St., Trappe
Waterwork Park Events at the Parade’s End
- The Remembrance Service begins at 11 a.m.
- Community Day then opens featuring a Community Concert, Kids Giant Inflatables, GrandPop Bubbles, and an old-fashioned free carnival, music and food trucks with a food court.
- Community Day ends at 3 p.m.
About the Annual Memorial Day Event
There will be floats decorated by residents and groups along with perennial favorites. The parade will be about a mile long and will be comprised of over 50 groups and individuals representing our veterans, military, non-profit groups, service clubs, Boy and Girl Scouts, marching bands, decorated floats, dancers, antique vehicles and special brigades.
Each year about 500 individuals take part in the parade and several thousand adults and children come out to watch along the parade route and attend the events at the park.
