The 2026 Collegeville &Trappe Memorial Day Parade has been Cancelled Due to Rain
Due to the significant chance of rain showers predicted throughout the day on Monday, May 25th, we are cancelling our 2026 Memorial Day Parade and the Community Day events at Waterworks Park. In addition to being a miserable day weather wise, the ground at the park is soaked, prohibiting us from parking cars on the playing field.
Remembrance Service Moved Indoors
We will, however, continue to hold our Remembrance Service for those who died serving our country in war. The ceremony will be moved indoors on Monday to Verge Church, 106 W. Ave. Trappe (map it), and will start at 11 a.m.
We hope that you will join us at the Remembrance Ceremony on Monday and next year at our parade and events at Waterworks Park on May 31, 2027, when we will keep our fingers crossed for dryer weather!
