Arnold Mann, community leader and Collegeville Borough Council member, was presented with the Sahli Service Award on Aug. 26th, 2014 at the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association (PMAA) annual conference awards banquet in Hershey PA.
Arnold was honored for over 20 years of service on the Collegeville-Trappe Municipal Authority, where over the years he has served as chairman, vice chairman, treasurer, assistant treasurer, secretary and assistant secretary.
In addition to his service on the Municipal Authority, Arnold has been a member of the Collegeville Borough Council since January 1992, where he was elected as Council President from 1994 to 1996, 1998 to 2002, and 2010. He is also a member of the Borough’s Planning Commission, the Borough’s Finance Committee and is Chairman of Streets and Roads.
Through the years Arnold has received numerous honors for his dedicated service to Montgomery County and support of the Collegeville Fire Company, and in 2011 he was recognized by the Collegeville Rotary Club as “Citizen of the Year” for his outstanding service to the community.
