It’s tough to change a tire while the car is running. But that’s essentially what Redner’s Collegeville had to do when they kept the store open while they renovated this past year. And yes, for a while, finding items in the store was challenging.
But now the Collegeville store is looking amazing, with many more food options:
- The expanded fresh vegetable and fruit section includes more washed and cut produce for ease of preparation;
- The large “Grab & Go” section includes freshly made sushi, signature sausages, entire prepared meals, freshly made deli sandwiches, wraps, salads and sides for all of us short on time;
- The new beer and wine section carries an impressive selection of beers, over 350 wine varietals, single serve cold drinks, refreshing water at the store’s new Infused Water Station, and seating for 30 with Wi-Fi and a charging bar;
- The full-service bakery just opened this week, and has begun baking their breads, bagels, cannoli, and other desserts overnight.
- Yet to come is the coffee and breakfast bar, with hot and iced coffee, cappuccino, and breakfast sandwiches; a popcorn machine, a slushy machine, and the new expanded floral section.
“The store renovation was definitely a challenge for everyone, but now we are at an end,” says Store Manager Tony Basiliko. “My thanks to the community for their patience. Now when they stop by, they can see the vision that our company had: We have essentially created a brand-new store for Collegeville! My thanks also to our employees, contractors, and subcontractors.”
The Collegeville Redner’s Ribbon-Cutting will be at 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 2. Take some time to stop by the new store and look for new products in virtually all areas of the store.
