Collegeville Fire Company Schedules Third Annual Hero Run Oct. 19th at 10:30 a.m.
The Collegeville Fire Company Hero Run is Oct. 19th starting at 10:30 at the Appalachian Brew Pub parking lot. This year’s Hero Run beneficiary is the relatively new “Montgomery County Heroes Fund” which provides immediate and ongoing relief and services to any Law Enforcement Officer or First Responder and their loved ones as a result of tragedy while on duty in or out of Montgomery County.
The Fire Company is offering tee shirts and commemorative patches to the first 150 registered runners. Winners of their age brackets will receive a Medal and a prize donated from one of several area businesses.
The Fire Company will again have the Emergency and Military vehicles present (including a fly over by a Med Evac helicopter which will land in the Community Park for people to see).
