Organist Mark Loria will present a recital featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Jean Langlais, Felix Mendelssohn, Leoš Janáček and Nico Muhly. He is currently the principal organist at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia.
Loria has previously served as organist and accompanist of Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton, N.J. and as associate organist of the Church of Saint Jean Baptiste in New York City. He holds degrees from Swarthmore College and Westminster Choir College and is a fellow of the American Guild of Organists.
The Ursinus College Department of Music offers a wide range of free musical performances throughout the spring. Parking is be available on concert days in the visitor’s lot at Bomberger Hall off the Main Street or Ninth Avenue entrance to the college.
