Blooming Community Garden Tour & Tea Party – June 27th

June 2, 2015

We are hosting our First Blooming Community Garden Tour on Saturday, June 27th from 10am to 2 p.m. Tour participants may stroll leisurely through eight private gardens and one guided tour. The blooming garden tour contains hidden treasures with lovely perennials, abundant annuals, and exemplary vegetable gardens. Enjoy the work of these passionate gardeners as you explore stone walkways, unique pool areas, and lovely patios. In addition, The Speaker’s House has a lovely historic Pennsylvania German garden to discover.

Additionally, each blooming garden tour reservation includes admission to a Tea Party Reception following the tour from noon to 3:00 p.m. at Brandywine Senior Living in Upper Providence. Gather with your wonderful family and friends for some tea sipping, tea sandwiches, and gardening ideas.

Cost of registration for the blooming garden tour and tea party reception is $25 per person; $25 on the day of the event. To register, click here or call us at 610-409-0370 or e-mail [email protected]. Once individuals are registered for the blooming garden tour they will be mailed a tour book describing each of the gardens, a map with all the gardens locations, and a paper bracelet to wear that identifies them as a participant in the blooming garden tour. On the day of the tour, individuals can visit the homes in any order between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
